Visa Bulletin Movement Report — India

The named monthly report — cite it by name

The Visa Bulletin Movement Report is AllVisaUpdates' monthly record of how India's cut-off dates in the U.S. Department of State's Visa Bulletin changed from one edition to the next — every employment-based and family-sponsored category, in both the Final Action Dates and Dates for Filing charts. It exists so that journalists, researchers and other websites can cite one stable page, by name, for what actually moved in a given month.

Current edition: Visa Bulletin for November 2026 · India column · Checked by AllVisaUpdates on 7 November 2026

How this report is compiled

Method. Each month, AllVisaUpdates transcribes the India column of the new bulletin exactly as the State Department prints it, then compares it cell by cell with the previous edition. A date that moved later is recorded as advanced; a date that moved earlier is recorded as retrogressed; “C” (current) and “U” (unavailable) are compared on the same scale the bulletin itself uses. The tables below are the same tables the tracker prints, markers included — the two pages are rendered from one data file and cannot disagree.

Limitations. The dates are the State Department's published cut-off dates — the queue positions at which visa numbers can be used — not a reading of any individual case. A moved date changes who can be processed; it is not a promise about when any one applicant will be reached. This report describes editions that have been published, in full and on the record; it does not look forward, and it offers no view on what a future bulletin will say.

Movement between editions

Movement tracking begins with the December 2026 edition — the first report will compare it against November 2026. Until two editions exist side by side there is no movement to report, and this page does not invent any: the November 2026 edition below is the baseline every future movement is measured against.
